My childhood was spent watching my mother sew beautiful couture gowns for red carpet events and fashion shows. I remember sitting at an old bakelite brown domestic Singer at around 5 years old and started making things from bags to shoes (with cardboard soles, no less!) until I was old enough to sit at a much faster and grown-up industrial machine. Creativity started young, and I couldn't see myself doing anything academic (I tried), and concluded that I work far better with my hands than I do my brain.

I studied Applied Arts at university, specializing in stitched textiles, then moved to London College of Fashion to study pattern cutting. Since then I have worked within the fashion industry in some way, from a haberdashery shop (an actual treasure trove, that was a danger to my bank balance) to production departments for various brands and designers.

Today, I work with my business partner, Sofia in our sewing studio in West London. We work for various brands, designers, interior companies and individuals.

We're friendly and approachable, so feel free to get in touch with your projects!
