Terms and Conditions For Lending
To obtain a copy to sign, send an email via the Contact page.
1. All Items for hire must be insured by
a returnable deposit of £300 or the value of the item or items, whichever is
greater.
2. The Deposit must be paid before items
are released. The deposit will be returned in full, when the item is returned
on time and in its origonal condition.
3. Items are leased for no longer than 2 Days. This is the overall time of lease, not just a photoshoot slot. Any
longer, must be agreed prior to lease.
4. It is the responsibility of the
company/model/artist to pay for any delivery/courier charges regarding the transport of
the items. Next Day Delivery should be used whenever possible, unless the lesee is avaliable to bring and collect. Tracking Numbers must always be
provided.
5. All items lent must be returned in
their exact condition, otherwise a penalty shall be incurred to the value of
the damage. This includes any damages incurred by poor packaging resulting in
potential damage in transit.
6. References must be provided to
certify any publications and credits pledged to the designer, in exchange for
the possible wavering of some or all of the above clauses.
7. Correct sizings and measurements must
be accurately provided, particularly if a garment is being made specifically
for a photoshoot or fashion show. The Designer bears no responsibility for ill
fitting garments, should incorrect measurements be given.
8. Model/artist/company must provide a reference
or thumnails of collaboration with at least one other professional, prior to
hire.
9. Models/artists/companies are strictly not
permitted to alter or decorate any lent items without prior permission. This
includes any jewellery or accessories that require pinning or attaching to any
of the garments.
Should any hired garments be
photographed or used in conjunction with another designers work, permission must be
obtained before publication.
